Fulfillment.com, a D&H company

B2B + retail + wholesale

Wholesale and retail orders, fulfilled from the same stock that serves your customers.

Purchase orders into your retailer and distributor accounts flow through BestOMS alongside your DTC and marketplace orders, picked and packed by our own people at a node we operate, from one shared inventory pool. Retailer connectivity runs through Dropstream. Fulfillment.com runs this step, not a subcontractor.

What it is

One operator for every channel you sell through

B2B fulfillment is shipping your wholesale and retail purchase orders into the retailers and distributors that carry your product, from the same finished-goods inventory that fills your DTC and marketplace orders. Selling into retail does not mean a second 3PL, a separate third-party logistics provider, a second stock position, or a second platform: the retail PO and the consumer order draw from one pool, and one operator picks, packs, and ships both.

One accountable operator runs this step. The pick, the pack, the labor, and the connectivity are all ours: facilities we operate, our own people, and our own customer success managers who own the outcome. We fulfill finished sealed product into your retail and distributor accounts; we don't manufacture, fill, bottle, formulate, or primary-pack. Your product moves through the same network we operate and the same team whether it ships to a consumer or to a retailer's distribution center.

How we do it

Retail orders run on the same platform as everything else

Wholesale and retail fulfillment uses the same BestOMS order layer, the same Dropstream connectivity, and the same barcode-verified picking as your DTC orders, so adding a retail channel does not mean re-platforming.

How we fulfill B2B

Wholesale and retail orders through BestOMS

Purchase orders from your retail and distributor accounts flow through BestOMS alongside your DTC and marketplace orders, picked and packed by our own people at a node we operate. One inventory pool serves every channel, so a retail PO and a DTC order draw from the same stock.

How we fulfill B2B

Retailer connectivity through Dropstream

Dropstream is the integration layer through which connectivity to your retail and distributor systems runs, so orders and status move between your accounts and our platform without a manual re-key.

How we fulfill B2B

Barcode-verified picking, for retail orders too

Retail and wholesale orders are picked with the same barcode verification as DTC: the right product, the right quantity, verified before it ships, so a case-pack order into a retailer is as accurate as a single-unit order to a consumer.

How we fulfill B2B

Ordering, routing, and chargebacks: the retailer's own rules

A retailer's EDI, an electronic system for placing and tracking orders, sets the transactions used instead of email and spreadsheets. Its routing guide sets the ASN, an advance-ship notice, and a carton-label spec that lets the retailer's DC scan a shipment in without opening it. Its chargeback schedule fines a shipment that misses either. All three originate with the retailer and differ by account. Tell us about your order flow and we'll talk through it.

Pick-and-pack accuracy

The right product reaches the right customer. Each unit is scan-confirmed against the purchase order before the carton is closed, which on a retail order is what keeps a wrong unit from becoming a compliance chargeback.

That standard does not change when the customer is a retailer instead of a consumer. A case-pack order into a distribution center is barcode-verified the same way a single unit to a doorstep is, because an accurate retail order is what keeps your accounts clean and your relationships intact.

How retail compliance works

Every retailer writes its own routing guide: the EDI transactions used to place and track a PO, the ASN and carton-label spec their DC scans on receipt, and a chargeback schedule that penalizes a shipment that misses the spec. Those rules belong to the retailer and vary from one account to the next. Connectivity to retailer systems runs through Dropstream. Tell us which retailers carry your product and where your program stands today, and we'll go through their specific requirements with you.

Questions buyers ask about B2B and retail

Can Fulfillment.com fulfill wholesale and retail orders, not just DTC?

Yes. Wholesale and retail purchase orders into your retailer and distributor accounts flow through BestOMS alongside your DTC and marketplace orders, picked and packed by our own people at a node we operate from one shared inventory pool. A retail PO and a single-unit DTC order draw from the same stock, so you do not silo inventory by channel.

Does Fulfillment.com handle EDI, routing guides, and retailer chargeback compliance?

EDI, routing guides, and chargeback schedules are set by each retailer, not by a 3PL. EDI is how a PO and its status move electronically between your systems and theirs; the routing guide layers on top of that with the label and shipment spec for their DC; the chargeback schedule is how they enforce it. Those three pieces differ by retailer, so there is no single answer that covers every account. Connectivity to retailer systems runs through Dropstream. Tell us which retailers carry your product and we'll talk through what their programs actually require.

Is retail order picking as accurate as DTC?

Yes. Retail and wholesale orders are picked with the same barcode verification as direct-to-consumer orders: the right product and the right quantity, verified before the order ships. A case-pack order into a retailer is held to the same accuracy standard as a single unit to a consumer.

Does Fulfillment.com apply my retailer's compliance labels?

A retailer's routing guide typically pairs an ASN with a carton label so the retailer's DC can scan a shipment in without opening every case. That label spec belongs to the retailer and is not standardized across accounts, and it is a separate thing from the branded packaging and unit labeling we apply during pick and pack. Tell us which retailer you're shipping into and we'll talk through what their spec calls for.

Is Fulfillment.com a co-packer or a manufacturer?

No. Fulfillment.com is a vertically integrated 3PL. We receive, store, pick, pack, ship, and return finished sealed product; we don't manufacture, fill, bottle, formulate, or primary-pack. For B2B and retail, that means we fulfill your already-finished, sealed units into your retail and distributor accounts.

Who runs the B2B fulfillment?

Our own people at a node we operate, with our own customer success managers owning the outcome. B2B and retail fulfillment is handled by the same one operator start to finish as the rest of the catalog: it is not handed to a subcontractor.
